Last Christmas

Hello everyone! Want to share you an outfit I wore last Christmas. Credits to Shuttered Realities by Raniel Hernandez for the wonderful photos.

Every Christmas, I always think of a "bongga" outfit for Christmas party. I assume everyone does too.    For my Christmas outfit, I've thought of wearing my H&M thigh-high booths that Matt gave me. Since we don't have winter or fall here in the Philippines, I think Christmas or Ber months is the perfect time to wear these lovely booties.

Sweater dresses and thigh-highs are a great combo. A long-sleeved sweater dress can look a little off when it's styles with the wrong shoes but a pair thigh-high booths is the perfect match. And, we know the power of a Little Black Dress or LBD for short. You look simple but glamorous at the same time. You only need minimal accessories to make a big impact so I just added Forever 21 body chain necklace, rings & Bershka round hat.

So what do you think of my "bongga" outfit. Hope you had an awesome day today. Toodles!

Chella Vibe

Sorry, this will be quick because I have a game later. So here it goes.

Since it's Coachella season, it's time to embrace the bohemian style. For this look, I teamed my ensemble with pink PANOPLIA coordinates, together with VETUS SHOP crochet vest, Zara leather boots, KIKAYS BOUTIQUE fringe bag, GEORGINA SASHA chandelier earrings & LADY MARMALADE SHOP necklace.

If you want to stand out in the crowd, choose loud prints and patterns, ethnic tunics and vintage-look tees; it's all about being seen under the sun this summer. You can also choose from cut-off denim shorts paired with bring or neon wells, or long maxi dresses match with stylish open-toe gladiators.

Be playful because it's all about fun this summer.

Crochet Vest: VETUS SHOP

Okay. I gotta go to my game now. Hope you liked it. ;-)

Pamper Yourself After a Busy Week

Finally, I had a chance to have a day to pamper myself after a long busy week. Like you know those days when you have a bad day and you just want to get some fresh air, get your nails done, get our hair fixed or go to the derma. But for today, I decided to drop by SKIN PHILOSOPHIE.

One thing I really love about the place is all of Dr. Kyla Talen's staff are so accommodating. If ever you'll go there, don't forget to try their tea. I totally feel at home whenever I go there.

I had my 3rd session  of Therma-Conductive Body Sculpting. For those who haven't heard about it yet, it's a body sculpting treatment that uses Radiofrequency (RF) energy to increase the metabolism of fat cells and releases fatty acids or liquid fat which will lead to the reduction in circumference of the treated area like lower abdomen, love handles & inner thighs.

This is perfect for my case because I've been doing exercise and diet for ages but still it's not enough to trim those stubborn fats on my lower abdomen and inner thighs. Plus, whenever I lose weight cellulites come out and my skin looks like a dimpled cottage cheese. The RF tightens the skin through the stimulation of natural collagen production. As you slim down, you don't have to worry with sagging skin. ;-)

Note that you also need to go on a healthy diet and consistent exercise to keep the fat off.

If you're interested with the treatment, please check out their website: http://skinphilosophie.com/dt_services/body-contouring/

Keep Your Head Warm & Peppers Cold

Sorry for the late post of this outfit because I was really busy working and preparing for a volleyball league, Philippine Superliga. I collaborated with Shuttered Realties by Raniel Fernandez. Drop by his Facebook page for his wonderful works.

Fun fact about me, I have tons of joggers or trousers inside my closet. I think it's a must-have piece in your wardrobe if you're not a pants person like me. Who says good style can't be comfortable? The beauty of jogger pants lies is twofold. First, they are basically dressed-up sweatpants, meaning you can wear it both at home and out of the house, and nobody will judge you. Second, it goes pretty much with everything inside your closet. So, say hello to sports luxe with joggers.

If you don't want to wear real pants, it's time for you to jump on the jogger bandwagon with me.

Botox in a Roller: Jade Roller

If you haven't heard about Jade Roller yet, it is a face roller made our of jade which Chinese women consider as a magical tool that is anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, reduces pores and eyebags. For short, it's like a botox in a roller.

Just a short history, the facial jade roller has been used for centuries by Chinese emperors and empresses because they believe it can give them smoother, unlined and younger faces. And today, this magical tool is rediscovered.

There are a lot of anti-aging products in the market and many experts claim that they are not harmful and they only exist in such small doses that it's not enough to cause enough problem. However, some of us use more than one product a day without knowing chemicals stay in our body and get stored in our cells which over time can cause health problems. So like my mom always say, "Prevention is better than cure" or you can switch to using "natural/organic" products.

Here are steps on how to use a Jade Roller:

Step #1: Cleanse
Wash your face using a deep-pore cleansing product. Get a towel and pat your skin dry.
In the video, I used THE HAPPY ORGANICS double detox bar with activated charcoal and kaolin clay.

Step #2: Apply
Apply moisturizer creams or oils on the face and the neck. Usually after a long day, I use THE SKIN NATURAL tea tree oil or EDENS PARADISE tomato serum with Vitamin B and collagen.

Step #3 Roll it on the skin
Get the face jade roller and start rolling it on your skin with an upward motion. Usually, if you want to have a refreshing feeling, put the Jade roller in the freezer and let it cool first before you roll it around your face. If you have a puffy eyes problem, use the smaller jade roller and concentrate under your eyes.

You can use the Jade roller at least 3 times a week to reduce wrinkles and lines. You can also use it before you apply make up and after a long day work.
