Look Forward to Mondays

Monday can set the tone for your entire week.
I confess. I've never been much of a Monday person. I always wish to fast forward to weekends.
But I have to try to make every Monday matter and to understand how much you can do if you get off a great start.

One of my favorite corporate outfits is a pencil skirt & white Celeste inner top from GLITZY GLAM SHOP. Balanced out a fitted pencil skirt with an over-sized black blazer with white lining from THE BRAND TRUNK.

Look over the details of my white Celeste top from GLITZY GLAM SHOP

This look can be worn at the office, for a date night, or cocktail hour with your girlfriends.

Since your blazer and top are making a bold statement, keep your accessories minimal.
Arm candies from DCG FASHION.

Others say wedges can find a home in the corporate because the big virtue of this pair is that its comfortable and I can run with it.

It's a Monday and imagine what you can do to make a difference in your life and in the lives of others.

Happy Monday!

Fashion Dare: Let Your Man Pick An Outfit For You

I just have to admit that sometimes I can get into an Idon't-know-what-to-wear syndrome. So I literally relied on Matt to pick out a dress for the dinner out with his family. Sure, usually guys would just pick out the most decent dress out of all pre-screened selections but Matt proved me wrong.

He picked out this beautiful long maxi dress from Forever 21. Say goodbye to skintight mini dress and say hello to the maxi dress trend. Maxi dresses were a staple during summer season. From a beach cover up to a dinner date. The maxi dress has got you covered. Boys would love to see you classy and not showing up too much skin. Find out what he likes and flaunt it off.

 .

Slipped on DCG FASHION's gold chandelier necklace to enhance the maxidress.

Gold ring bracelet to match with the necklace and white handbag from KIKAYS BOUTIQUE.

Do you love the result?

Why don't you try it for yourself. Make your man feel special and go "wow" with the outfit he picked out for you.

My First Time to Box!

Yes, I tried boxing for the first time. As in put-on-huge-gloves-and-punch-hard-a-bag. It’s been so long since I planned this out and finally it did happen. Thank you so much Garren Elorde of Elorde Alabang for making it all happen. Can I just say I was nervous at first because I have never boxed in my life but everybody was so nice and my trainer was pushing me when I felt like giving up and that’s what I need..

Wore my "KISS MY ABS" statement tank top from RECOVERY WEAR as my fitspiration

If you ask me, boxing fitness classes can positively affect your overall confidence and self-esteem. I felt stronger and more confident knowing its also for self defense. For me, fitness is just to sweat but to learn how to set and achieve personal goals. The nice thing about boxing training is these traits often transfer over into everyday life. Wonder why athletes are also competitive outside the court.

Overall, my experience at Elorde Alabang was great. The trainers are great at teaching proper technique and footwork. I learned the basics of how to punch, different combinations and even some terminology in just one session. I can't wait for my 2nd session.

I just want to share this quote for those who are still deciding, "If it's still in your mind, it's worth taking the leap".

Happy 4th!

It's been awhile since I've wore a short floral dress. So last June 14, I decided to wear this lovely H&M floral printed dress from FAB FINDS. And why? Because exactly four months from that day, I said yes to Matt to be his girlfriend. I love how this dress is colorful and fun just like how Matt brought color to my life and everyday is a fun-filled adventure with him.

The thing I like about this dress is that you can wear it for a day around the mall and then just add some heels for a formal dinner date in the evening, but for today, I put on these comfortable ballet flats from  FEET HER WELL.

If you like, you can add on some accessories to spice up the outfit like arm candies, pearl earrings, headband and an H&M clutch bag. Don't I look girly today? ;-P

Last but not the least, I just want to show you an addition to our family. Meet Stella the Sharpei! Matt gave her to me for our 4th monthsary or what he calls "Annimercary"gift. I named her Stella from my favorite German beer because she looks drunk all the time and she sleeps everywhere.

I've never felt this blessed and loved ever before. Thank you so much love!

Flare & Flatter

Slipped into my white camisole that is a perfect outfit builder. This cotton cami works well with popping navy paisley trousers from THE URBAN HOUR. This outfit is perfect while dealing with the sweltering weather of the Philippines. I really don't understand the bipolar weather. Sometimes it's cool when the rain pours but sometimes it feels like you're in the oven. Simply wear something loose but sultry little outfit. This flower crown from FLEUR DE CLEI adds that touch of hippy appeal to the ensemble.

This set of cotton camisole and print trouser combination is versatile. Don't be afraid to mix and match your wardrobe. What I love about this outfit is that it moves with your body and flatters your shape. Especially with the trousers, it allows you to feel comfortable at all times than wearing jeans.

P.S. This is what I love to wear on a lazy day.

Adding more flare with this leather fringe shoulder bag. Couldn't leave home without a watch. The brown leather strap from SPIFFY is just perfect.

On deciding what shoes to wear, I always choose comfort over anything else. Since I'm not blessed with height, I need a bit of height assistance. For everyday wear, I always go for wedge heels. They're are fashionable and versatile.

I guess camisoles and trousers are lazy day outfit-fixer.

Share the Love

From one heart to another. Now, I'm sharing to you my passion for fashion. Wonder why its #MGPerspireToInspire? I found blogging another way to reach out to people and share what I can do other than volleyball. It's like a diary of a volleyball player who loves to dress up off the court. I want share my ideas, inspiration, and tips on my blog about fashion and fitness. I may not have won genetic lottery to fit in all types of clothes but I always tell myself this, "It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it."

I just want to share this quote, "Put your energy where your joy is. - Shann Vander Leek".

Always choose to do something you wont grow tired of. People only do their best at things they truly enjoy. So do you have something in mind? It's never too late.

Today I feel like wearing my white boho peasant blouse with an off-shoulder fit and ombre high-waisted shorts from VETUS SHOP. A little boho-chic with a little futuristic. Try to express your inner boho babe just like in the 70s. This look channels a psychedelic spirit with flowy silhouettes and colorful embellishments.

Elevate your sunny weather wardrobe with a pair of these on the go and light-weight wedge just like from MONICA LEE SHOES.

Ombre heart sunnies from SUNNIES HUT complements the whole look. It just brings you back to summer love.

Slipped on these eye catching necklace and knuckle rings set from DCG FASHION. Also, watch from SPIFFY.

Just be yourself & no one can do it better. Peace!

Rain or Shine, Here I come!

Summer is over. Its time to look forward to the upcoming wet season. Are you ready? I sure am ready for cooler temperature with this outfit. All ready to run anytime, rain or shine, in this Nike windbreaker that my boyfriend's little brother gave me. Thank you Christian!

I have to admit, I become extremely lazy on rainy days BUT, and that's a big but I don't want to let the weather stop me. So I stepped out in style, rain or shine with my windbreaker on. This windbreaker is lightweight and perfect for layering.

There is nothing worse on a rainy day than rain getting in your eyes and wind messing up your hair. Saving me from a bad hair day & keeping the rain out of my face, DGK Negative to Positive Snapback from HAT SOCIETY PH works.

After dodging the rain so I wont be late for my once-in-a-blue-moon lunch with my siblings, the beautiful sun comes out. I just had to take off my windbreaker because I don't want to melt inside. It was the best time for my white low back scoop tank top and paired it with Tracy denim shorts from INDIE-GO BOUTIQUE.

Slid on a slim, gold body chain inside my tank top for a lady like vibe against the sporty style.

Copped these Nike Sky-hi wedges from ITSSHOEMURA. This is perfect for a little girl who loves to wear heels and loves to wear sneakers as well.

Always remember, don't let the weather get your fashion spirits down.

Day to Night: Jumpsuit Friday

So it's a Friday. I bet you've already envisioned giving yourself a break from a crazy & stressful week with your friends or go out on a date. If you are like me, you would rather wear something that will look suitable for work and also great when you go out at night. Do up your day look & shine at night in this Laurence Jumpsuit from @theclothinghub. I chose this piece because it's versatile. A little black dress? How about a black jumpsuit?

For my daytime look, all I need is a black trimmed kimono from @anythinggoesstore to cover some skin and to make this look more conservative during the day.

But at night time, ditch the kimono! Be confident & show off what you got! Step outside of your comfort zone with me.

Go for a shoe-play and choose a pair of sexy pointed toe high heels to elongate your legs or anything that you are comfortable with.

Don't forget to add in a bag that will fit everything you need. For me, I chose this doctor's bag from @kikays_boutique because of its interesting details, spacious and it complements my outfit. It's just funny how men always wonder why every woman has to carry a bag wherever they go.

I don't know why but for me, black and gold are meant for each other. I must not forget my @velocitime gold voyager watch on a day like this. Lastly, chunky gold chain necklace & bracelet to finish off my glam outfit.

I knew that this piece could make a look from office appropriate to sexy and sophisticated at night.

I dare you to try this for a less hassle yet chic  look.
