How to Wear Culottes whether you're Tall, Petite or Plus Size?

Since it's getting hotter in the Philippines, this coming summer is all about the new, loose cropped trousers. Styling these pants can be tricky, but I know you can work this style. It may be in full-length or midi, wide-leg culotte pants can easily become your new work-wear must-have or you can have another alternative for your jeans. 

Why I love to wear this pant style? Because whether you're tall or petite, you can pull this off! Plus they are so comfy, breezy, and chic.

So how I wore mine? 

I have a co-ord sleeveless vest and wide leg culotte already so all I need to do is to find the perfect inner top.  I want to make it more bold but still chic so I chose to wear my Forever 21 leather tube crop corset.

Remember this trio guide to complete an outfit with culottes - 

"LONG OUTWEAR" + CROP TOP + MIDI CULOTTES".

Opt for a standout outfit with minimalist accessories.

The 3 quarter length for culottes is the most universally flattering fit. For petite girls, to give you the longer silhouette pair this look with a long blazer or vest and don't forget to wear with heels. Wearing culottes well is all about your shoes. You can go for a pair of pointy toe pumps w/ a slim heel for sleep ladylike look but for advanced culottes wearers you can go for more daring options like a thick-heeled platform or fun booties.

Lastly, come people think plus-size girls can't wear culottes because of the shape but that's not true! Tucking your shirt created more of a waist and wearing heels elongate your legs.

Mesh with White

Hello everyone! It's been weeks since I last posted an outfit. I've just been really busy with priorities. So, for this outfit I decided to go all white again when I went to the baby shower of Matt's teammate's baby. I want to congratulate Julian & Des for having a cute baby with full of swag like his daddy. For sure baby Justice will bring joy and happiness to their lives.

Green or White? White

Sorry cause it took me days to post this outfit on my blog. I've been really busy with my other priorities. 

So, here yah go!

I wore an all-white ensemble to the DLSU vs NU Round 2 game. I wanted something different(not wearing a green colored shirt) that's comfy enough for a few hours outside but still put-together. Opted for a sleeveless oversized blazer from one of my favorite shops, THE URBAN HOUR and paired it with a white vintage shirt that my mom passed on to me. I completed this all-white ensemble with Comfort Plus wedges while subtle Forever 21 gold bangle and DCG FASHION necklace rounded things off. And, a touch of sparkle with SHOP GEORGINE sequined sling bag.

Congratulations Green Archers! They showed everyone how to play like a champion. Let the green spirit soar. Animo!

Taters Le Grand 20

Let my lines do the talking with my tailored floral peplum blazer. Taters Le Grand 20 calls for a perfect floral peplum blazer and pair it with neon high waist shorts. I've been a huge fan of Taters ever since. My movie date wouldn't be complete without my nachos cheese flavored popcorn and a large cup of Sprite with cherry syrup. The best thing I've experience from the Taterrific festival is diving into tons of popcorn. I posted a video on my Instagram account to prove how I enjoyed the "Popcorn Dive" booth.

I pulled out these two chic pieces from HIPSTOP shop at 3rd floor Shoppesville, Greenhills. I think floral has sprung up in my taste buds that day. I want something different and versatile that I can wear from day to night.

The key to wearing this print is not to overdo it - choose a floral print and keep the rest of your outfit simple.

Look Forward to Mondays

Monday can set the tone for your entire week.

I confess. I've never been much of a Monday person. I always wish to fast forward to weekends.

But I have to try to make every Monday matter and to understand how much you can do if you get off a great start.
