Keep Your Head Warm & Peppers Cold

Sorry for the late post of this outfit because I was really busy working and preparing for a volleyball league, Philippine Superliga. I collaborated with Shuttered Realties by Raniel Fernandez. Drop by his Facebook page for his wonderful works.

Fun fact about me, I have tons of joggers or trousers inside my closet. I think it's a must-have piece in your wardrobe if you're not a pants person like me. Who says good style can't be comfortable? The beauty of jogger pants lies is twofold. First, they are basically dressed-up sweatpants, meaning you can wear it both at home and out of the house, and nobody will judge you. Second, it goes pretty much with everything inside your closet. So, say hello to sports luxe with joggers.

If you don't want to wear real pants, it's time for you to jump on the jogger bandwagon with me.

Sun's Out, Guns Out

Last Saturday, I went to my 1st session of pilates in Vivian Zapanta Pilates Studio in
15/F EcoTower, 32nd Street corner 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, Metro Manila 1634. I have no words but it was worth the sweat. My season will start soon so I have to do some extra work for my injured back. And, I will definitely do this every week.
So every after work out, I'm not one of those girls who looks cute during post-workout. My hair is a frizzy mess and flying out in every direction as the wind blows. But then I had to do something with my outfit because it's a weekend and that means it's date time with my Boyfriend Matt since it's the only time we have to bond. So, I had to vamp up my work out clothes.
It was a sunny day and a pair of VINTAGE SHORTS PH high waisted shorts is perfect matched with my RECOVERY WEAR work out tank top that says, "Sun's out; Guns out". Pretty Witty eh? Then for my cover up, OLD GOLD VINTAGE nike jacket is perfect. I look so NE-ON!

This post-workout outfit will take you from your favorite sweat session to lunch date or just running errands.

Go Outdoors

It's that time of the year when the cold weather sends chills to your fingertips and the rain seems determined not to leave the country. Some, of course, make this as a reason to stay indoors with a hot chocolate but others cannot wait to gear up and get outside for an adventure.

Thank goodness waterproof jackets has come a long way in fashion. ALTUM CLOTHING CO. just makes style and comfort meets practicality. I'm not really a type of girl who brings everything inside her bag like an umbrella that makes my "Fleur Reverti" jacket comes in handy.  It's fashionable, practical and comfortable yet affordable for your pockets. It's also a two-in-one jacket. This jacket has both water resistant and a cotton side for both cold and rainy weathers. Awesome beans!

Completed this look with INDIE-GO high waisted shorts, Zara ribbon tie-front crop top, VELOCI metro watch and Nike shoes I got as pasalubong from Tito Balt. :-)

And now, I still have to pack for Ilocos for a game. Toodles!

Go Green

How's everyone been doing? Posting a sporty outfit today sporting the colors of green & white that represents my alma mater. I know all Lasallians are still coping up with the loss but win or lose, I'm still proud of how the athletes play for their school and supporters. Moving on, since season is getting near I have to do some extra work out especially cardio. By the way, I LOVE RUNNING. Especially, hitting the road alone and feeling the breeze brushing through my skin. Running, it's a way for me to think. You don't know how it helps me think deeper about things in my life.

Other than the brain benefits of running, it's the best cardiovascular exercise ever. This is the cardio you can do at home and anywhere plus you don't need any equipment. It helps you burn fats developed in your body. But for those who have some problems with running then you can go slow at slow pace first. It also helps you tone those flabby part of the body.

So, all you need is a pair of quality and light running shoes. A 145 pounds person can easily burn 300 calories in 30 minutes. There is no "right" cardio exercise. The best choice for you is the one that you enjoy and the one you'll work the hardest at. Set a goal, blast those calories to & get in great shape.

Lace Up

Let's just say, I have a thing for Nike Sky Hi Wedges. Wearing my new addition to my collection today. You wouldn't believe how I got this. I'll try to make this short. So, I was shopping with Michele and Lhexie at the mall while the boyfriends went around separately. I called Matt right after when we were done with our girl thing and then ta-da! Matt approached me holding a Nike paper bag and guess what's inside?

Effortlessly sporty and chic for my outfit for today, went for a casual look with my LACE UP REVOLUTION t-shirt on denim high waist shorts paired it with my Nike sky hi wedges metallic bronze and Rastaclat strap back. Accessorized my look with my triple Rastaclat bracelets & black handy shoulder bag from ASHBY BAGS.

Elevate your style while staying cozy all day. These babies surely give you the same height that you get when wearing a pair of heels. ;-P

DADAfied x Francis Libiran

I was really excited to share this outfit to everyone because I'm wearing a wearable art by DADA in collaboration with Francis Libiran, an innovator in the fashion industry. These art tanks can we worn either way. There is no front and back. This #DadaRevese shows you how life always has two stories.

I personally love wearing something I could be proud of. DADA clothing line is owned by graphic ninjas who envision a community of people who can learn and be inspired by artworks through wearable Artanks. Their collaboration with Francis Libiran, an internationally renowned fashion designer caught my attention and my praise.

A printed tank top paired with CERTAIN THINGS leather shorts will never fail.

You can always toughen up your edgy pieces with something leathery.

I can't help to jump the bandwagon of the Origami shorts, skorts, and skirts trend. This edgy trend will not go away anytime soon.

For a sporty-chick like me, my Nike sky-hi wedges I got from ITSSHOEMURA punctuates my sporty-look very well.

For my printed top, I wore my EYE KNOW RIGHT blue/purple flash lenses. I love how my sunnies reflects out the colors of my top and make more of a statement than just a normal pair of shades. Let the accessories do the talking, gold chain necklace and VELOCI gold cruiser watch.

Go get your own state-of-the-art and designer tank tank top soon and be proud of having a wearable art!

Flash of Love

We know it's not Valentine's day, like this "couple look" trend in Korea is done on a daily basis by many young couples, but we decided to bust out sporting our matching TEE TANK CO Surfer's Grit tank tops designed by R.O. Nicholas. They say it's a way to send a message of couples that are in love.

From the streets of South Korea to HK and to Manila, you can see couple outfits from some stores or actually couples tend to buy same design of clothes and accessories. Some people may love it or hate it, but couples are dressing to express. Actually, there are some reviews, ranging from those who find it endearingly cute to those who deem it annoyingly ridiculous.

We have seen couples on the West do it too like  my favorite couples Victoria and David Beckham & Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise.

In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with it, as long as you don't end up looking like twin-wannabes with matching everything from head-to-toe.

The key to pulling of matching ensembles is to put a coordinated look starting with matching your mood and complimenting your colors. First off, we feel like bringing our sportiness outside the court. Some couples go all out with matching everything but for us, we just focused on our top, shoes and shades. It doesn't have to be the same colors as long as it has same design or vice versa.

Same design of Flash Lenses Wayfarer from LAROVE SHOP. His is silver and mine's blue.

Owning this look with our matching Nike KD 6.

So how do you feel about couples wearing matching outfits?

My First Time to Box!

Yes, I tried boxing for the first time. As in put-on-huge-gloves-and-punch-hard-a-bag. It’s been so long since I planned this out and finally it did happen. Thank you so much Garren Elorde of Elorde Alabang for making it all happen. Can I just say I was nervous at first because I have never boxed in my life but everybody was so nice and my trainer was pushing me when I felt like giving up and that’s what I need..

Wore my "KISS MY ABS" statement tank top from RECOVERY WEAR as my fitspiration

If you ask me, boxing fitness classes can positively affect your overall confidence and self-esteem. I felt stronger and more confident knowing its also for self defense. For me, fitness is just to sweat but to learn how to set and achieve personal goals. The nice thing about boxing training is these traits often transfer over into everyday life. Wonder why athletes are also competitive outside the court.

Overall, my experience at Elorde Alabang was great. The trainers are great at teaching proper technique and footwork. I learned the basics of how to punch, different combinations and even some terminology in just one session. I can't wait for my 2nd session.

I just want to share this quote for those who are still deciding, "If it's still in your mind, it's worth taking the leap".
